Why you should hire a certified professional ergonomist

Anyone can offer ergonomics services, but only a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) must achieve high standards of education and experience in addition to passing a rigorous examination. The Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE) certifies ergonomics professionals and sets continuing education requirements to maintain certification. BCPE also requires certified professionals to practice ergonomics according to its code of ethics.

BCPE’s mission statement:

To provide ergonomics certification to protect the public, the profession and its professionals by assuring standards of competency and advocating for the value of certification.
