As the sole consultant at Ergonomics Northwest, Aaron R. Ross, a Certified Professional Ergonomist, specializes in industrial ergonomics, office ergonomics and mitigation development using “lean” principles. He also offers comprehensive ergonomics program development and training.
About Aaron R. Ross, CPE
Aaron is the principal of Ergonomics Northwest. He is passionate about ergonomics and helping companies achieve success through ergonomics innovation.
Prior to launching Ergonomics Northwest, he managed the ergonomics program for The Boeing Company’s Portland, Oregon manufacturing site. He started his ergonomics career as a consultant in Seattle, helping businesses improve their operations by minimizing ergonomics risk factors and increasing productivity. Aaron has served companies in a variety of industries, including aerospace, forestry, semiconductor, construction, retail, transportation, medical, biotechnology, education, banking, utilities, garbage / recycling, insurance, information technology, dentistry, optical and others. Throughout his extensive consulting experience, Aaron has developed many innovative solutions to mitigate ergonomics risk factors. He is adept at identifying the root causes of risk factors and applying “out of the box” solutions to complex challenges.
Aaron holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University and a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Philosophy from Pacific University. Outside of work, Aaron enjoys being active in the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest and relaxing with a good book.
